Piano Lessons For All Ages 

This is where the magic of piano playing begins! Using traditional teaching methods, technology, and playing-by-ear, the lessons are tailored specially for every student. The lesson types that I offer are Private One-on-One and Online lessons.

Please Note: Due to the COVID-19 Crisis, ALL lessons will be held ONLINE, until social distancing restrictions have been lifted. 

Please Note: The photo above is a picture of me age 7. The hand position in the photo is incorrect, but don't let that discourage you. I have been playing the piano for several years and have come up with ways to improve hand position for students.

~ Lesson Types ~ 

 Students can take lessons at the piano teacher's house or via Online through Zoom or Skype if the distance is too far.

~ Music Styles ~

I teach a variety of different styles including Classical Piano, Beginner Piano, Contemporary, Improvisation and Song-writing - in fact I can customise the lessons to your specific tastes!

~ Teaching Hours ~

9:30am - 2pm Monday to Friday (For adult learners and children who don't go to school yet)

3:45pm - 7pm Monday to Friday (For children who go to school) [Contact me for more info]

45 minute lessons

60 minute lessons

Lesson length times will depend on age and skill level.

~ Lesson Fees ~

Lessons are charged per the lesson length. As a VMTA member, I am advised to use these recommended teaching rates. [Contact me for more info]

 ~ Lesson Skill Levels ~

• Trial Lesson - This is a FREE introductory lesson for students/adult learners who sign-up and want to have an idea of how I run my lesson. This lesson goes for 1 hour; 15mins getting to know each other and 45mins of Practical playing time. A 10min Trial Lesson for children ages 3-5 years old. In the Trial lesson we will discuss which skill level is best suited for you.
• Beginner Level  - This piano lesson is suitable for those who want to know the basics about learning the piano. This could be learning the fundamentals about the piano, learning how to play chord progressions, simple song-writing skills, etc.
• Intermediate Level - This type of lesson is for those who need a refresher course or would like to know what it is like to study for a piano exam (i.e. AMEB). I'm also taking interests for those who are interested in studying from Preliminary Grade up to Grade 2 AMEB. 
• Advanced Level - This lesson is for students who are preparing for VCE Music Performance exams. This lesson contains preparing for Units 1&2/3&4 Solo performances, fine-tuning on Repertoire, Music Theory, etc. Which ever subject you need a bit of guidance with, I'm here to help :)
